Life has a lot of potholes. You’re cruising along with KURTHUMP! You smack into a giant pothole that pops your tire or makes you spill your coffee.
Spilled coffee is the saddest!
What you do with those potholes is your choice. You can stress, worry, or throw yourself into a royal tantrum about how life is unfair…
Or you can sing.
There’s something about putting music on that does something to all of us.
When I feel upset, I find a song buried in my heart and belt it out at the top of my lungs. 99% of the time it lifts my spirit.
I’m sure most of us can:
- Pout
- Whine,
- Complain
Here’s the thing, focusing on the potholes will only cause more potholes. Focusing on the things that make you happy is a key to creating a new atmosphere around yourself.
You know how you walk into a room and you can “feel” the tension? When you choose to sing, you begin to build an atmosphere around you of joy, peace, love, and gratefulness. People will feel the difference!
Is your heart singing today?

Meet Zoe Reed
She is 26, unmarried, and still living with her parents. Working at a lame craft store, she feels like her life has become one giant disappointment.
Waiting for Mr. Right, yet having never been on a date, let alone kissed a man, she wonders if he will ever come.
Then she meets Branson Tate
The handsome man and his three kids stumble into her life, and she finds him to be polar opposite of what her parents have always wanted for her.
But when Zoe’s dad, the pastor of the largest church in Michigan, says God spoke to him who her husband is, she’s faced with a choice.
Is her father hearing God or is she?
