3 Tips to Heal Yourself of Emotional Stress #selfhelp #stress #healyourself

A soul is always absorbing energies.

The more sensitive you are, the more you absorb too! So here are a few tips from me to help bring healing in yourself.

Tip 1. Make sure the emotion you are feeling is YOU

So many times, I pick up on other people, and I cause myself unnecessary pain. Once I realize it’s not me, I pray for the person, and I release their emotions. You are not responsible for their pain.

Tip 2 . Release as often as you can

It can be difficult to find time to meditate or release a painful emotion that keeps coming to you. But, what I find helpful, is going outside, barefooted if possible, and connecting with the Earth beneath me. I picture all of my fears, concerns, and pain draining from my head to my feet. I then see it absorbed into the Earth. I pull on the love of life beneath my feet.

Tip 3. Ask for Help

When I get overwhelmed, I simply take a deep breath, let go of the pain, and ask my angels and Father for help. Even as I sit here writing this, I can sense their presence around me. They are longing to help you overcome your pain! You are so loved!

I hope these tips helped lighten your heart. Do them as often as you can. We are in a world full of a lot of pain, stress, and fears, and the more you can center back to love, the happier you’ll be in life!

How to Stay Happy

What makes you happy?

If I had to make a list of things that make me happy here’s a few that would be on that list.

  1. Writing
  2. An encouraging word
  3. Someone asking about my life
  4. Late night silliness
  5. Doctor Who
  6. Hearing God speak
  7. Encouraging another
  8. Genuine anything

I was just talking to my sister about this yesterday, and I told her, “I just want to stay HAPPY. Every day!”

But problem with it, is there’s always ‘something’ trying to steal your happy. What is it?

(Points to head)

Thoughts that race in and out constantly like, “You’re never going to make it.” Or, “No one really cares about you.”

2 Corinthians 10:5

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

I saw that scripture and was like, YES! We demolish arguments! How many times do we ARGUE with ourselves? Those bad thoughts try to get the upper hand.

Have you ever been in a battle of wits?

My brother is really fast at comebacks, and if you get into a battle with him, he more in likely will win that battle.

So how do we NOT allow those arguments and things that come against the knowledge of God to slap us around?

Let’s read that last part: and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

That’s a lot of work. If I’m being straight up honest with you! Keeping track of all the stuff floating around in your head is not easy peasy one two cheesy. Its a commitment to protect your thought life. Ever since reading and learning about the brain, I’ve tried to watch my thought life and what I’m saying out of my mouth.

Wanna know how to stay happy?

  • Do things that make you happy
  • Stop contradicting your faith with doubt
  • Watch how you think and what you say
  • Focus on gratitude for EVERYTHING
  • Don’t look what you don’t have. Look at what’s yours.

One last thing here. So, on last Sunday during worship I get a vision. In this vision I see a dead tree that’s smoking. I’m looking at it, and thinking. “This doesn’t look very nice.” So I asked the Holy Spirit, “Why is it smoking?”

Suddenly the tree starts coming alive and blooming with leaves and flowers. BUT it’s still smoking. So I asked God, “Why is it still smoking?” Then He told me, “There’s a hot spring under it.”

Now what does that mean?

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
We can feel extremely dead and dry inside. That’s when we need to draw from the wells of salvation. Almost any Christian knows that we’ve been given the joy of the Lord among all the other fruit of the Spirit. So, what stops us? (Points to head again) Our brain likes to get in the way a lot.
Draw up your joy.
Remember to Think Sweet!
