Let go of Guilt about Money #angelguidance #wealth #moneymaking

I was raised in a home where there wasn’t a whole lot of money flow. I’m the sensitive-type, so I adopted my parents debt, in my mind, and I chose to not ‘ask’ for anything, in order to help them with their money problems.

Now, as an adult, it created a guilt about asking for money-flow from God. Not being a parent myself, I can still imagine, if my child came up to me and asked for something, it would be my joy to give it to them.

I have a four-year-old nephew, and he comes up to me, all the time, for a dollar for candy. My heart melts, every time, because I want him to have the  mindset that his aunt loves him and wants to give him what his heart wants. That is love.

We are connected to the divine source of love, at all times, and it is His pleasure to give to us.

Don’t allow your expectations, fears, and beliefs to block the flow of wealth in your life. Be free! Forgive your parents or yourself for holding back from you, and remember that LOVE enjoys giving to you.

Be blessed today!

Excerpt: Angel Chamuel
Blockages can create bumps in your path of abundance. The more blocks, the more bumps. People can uncover blocks by asking questions of themselves. What is stopping me from receiving help? It can come in many forms. Fear. Failure. Doubt. Not knowing how. Not feeling deserving.
Little blockages can even stop the flow. The bigger the pipe, or belief system, the easier the flow. The big blocks need dealt with first, but even small ones will mess up the flow of life. Worry damages the flow. It’s like denting a pipe—the flow has to work harder to actually come through. Prayers are like this. So, when you pray, “Angels, help me have money.” It helps un-dent the pipe. But, remember it takes time to repair a damaged pipe. You must treat yourself with love and patience to flow again. Don’t re-dent the issue once you ask. Keep your focus on the fact you have it.
Sit in it. Grasp it. Put a picture on your wall. Look at it, and smile like it’s in the mail coming. When you purchase something on-line, you know it’s shipped and coming. Just because it takes time, you don’t get upset, because you already know it’s yours. That’s how prayer works. You ask and it’s shipped! It’s on the way! Wealth is already shipped. New jobs or whatever you need.

Rich Church Poor Churc

Money Talks

I have been reading a book that was recommended to me called Rich Church Poor Church. This book has started to completely transform the way I’ve been thinking for the last 31 years.

Back Story

I grew up in a family that had just barely “enough” and at times not even that. My dad worked at a low-paying job in a little city, and while I never knew we didn’t have much money as a kid, it was there. Both of my parents were raised by poverty-stricken families as well.  When my family moved from our tiny little city to a larger city, that’s when stuff started happening.

Poverty Keeps you in Fear

My dad and mom had gotten hired to be youth pastors when we moved, and roughly three months later, they lost the pay. The church had lost over 100 people and could no longer afford to pay them as youth leaders.

Poverty makes you  hang onto what you have

As a kid the stress of money began to hit me. I knew my parents were now in need, and I watched them struggle, go to food pantries, and do whatever they had to, to keep our family running.

I Stopped Asking

I started to stop asking for anything. I never really did much before, but now I got angry when my brother asked for money from them. I took on their burden. I didn’t want to see my family in need even greater.

What does this have to do with Rich Church Poor Church?

Everything. With the help of this book, as well as another one called Switch on your Brain, I began to train my thoughts to start thinking different. I’ve never felt like my life has been successful in anything. I’ve never had great need as an adult because I have a job, but I’ve never taken risks with money either. I began to cling to everything I had.

Proverbs 11:24-26

24 There is one who scatters, yet increases more;
And there is one who withholds more than is right,
But it leads to poverty.
25 The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself.
26 The people will curse him who withholds grain,
But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it.

Poverty doesn’t Give

Fear and poverty are brothers. Twin brothers. Why? Because people who walk in fear of giving, of scattering, as this scripture said, will be in poverty. The generous soul will be made rich. Why?

A Rich Heart has No Fear

As a child, I had fear that my family would always be in need. So, I clung to every dime, every penny, and made sure that I never asked for anything. This is a complete and utter poverty mentality. It wasn’t even my parents who were saying, “No! We don’t have money for this!” It was me! Saying, “No! They can’t give to me!”

Do you think God is withholding?

I did for a long time. I’m not rolling in the dough, but I’m allowing the Holy Spirit to help me walk in Faith and not in Fear about money anymore.

Creative Ways to Make Wealth

You have an Ability to Create Wealth

I’ve been reading a book called Rich Church Poor Church, which I talked about in my last post. Now this book along with another book has really been rebooting my thinking. In one chapter of this book he really shook me up! He was talking about being creative for money. I started thinking God is the CREATOR and He created us each with an ability to create something. No matter who you are, you can create something.

Whether it be a sandwich or a work of art, you have an ability to create.

Are you burying your ability?

A few months ago I preached a sermon about Multiplication. In that sermon I read the story from Matt 25:14-30. To make a long story short, a man gives three servants money. To one he gave five, to another three, to another one. Now the first man it says he made the money work for him. The second did the same, and the last guy he just threw it in the dirt. Let’s talk about man number three.

Fear will leave you in Poverty

Let’s talk about man number three—let’s call him Bart. Bart has issues. First off, his master was a man who knew how to sew and reap and make his money work for him. If you don’t believe me read the end of the story. This is what Bart said, ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’

Bart had a creative way to make money—to at least multiply it a little, and instead of stretching himself, instead of pulling out this creative way, he just simply dug a hole and said, “It’s not that great, God, I can’t get that to multiply. You’ve given me this money so that I can be creative with it and create more, but that’s too hard for me. I’m just not that good at my abilities, God. I suck. I can’t do it.”

So Bart failed this test. Big time. He not only remained poor. He remained in utter fear. He was so afraid to lose what God had given him that he just didn’t stretch himself at all.

If you stay in Fear you will NEVER multiply anything in your life.

In order for us to grow in our ability to create wealth we have to first lean from our Master. He LOVES to multiply. You may not think your one tiny piece of gold can do squat, but even one tiny piece can gain interest in the bank. Learn to offer what you have to God, watch what he can do for you!
